The latest data on President Donald Trump’s approval rating shows that he is still the least popular president of the last seven decades or so by a healthy margin. A further look at the numbers, however, suggests that this metric had slightly gone up in the two days since the president issued his official statement on the sexual harassment allegations made against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Since Donald Trump first took office in January, FiveThirtyEight has been monitoring the president’s approval and disapproval ratings, tracking them from day one up to the present and comparing them against the ratings of 12 past U.S. presidents, chronologically starting with Harry Truman and ending with Barack Obama. As of today’s Thanksgiving update, Trump’s approval rating is at 38.4 percent, holding steady from yesterday’s figure, but 0.3 percent higher than it was on November 19 and 20, when the rating was at 38.1 percent.

South African Olympic Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius will now serve 13 years and five months for the murder of his model and law graduate girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. The South African Supreme Court of Appeal decided that the initial prison sentence of six years be lengthened to 13 years, which is more in line with the prescribed minimum sentence of 15 years for murder.

According to eNCA legal journalist Karyn Maughan’s Twitter feed, the Supreme Court of Appeal stated that there were “no compelling reasons” for Judge Masipa to deliver a sentence of less than 15 years for Oscar Pistorius murdering Reeva Steenkamp. In fact, the Appeal Court labeled the six-year sentence originally handed down by the judge as “shockingly lenient.”

A bull calf in China has quickly become an internet sensation after he was found to have grown an extra leg on his back. Despite the mutation, the young bull is developing normally and is doing just fine.

The unique calf was born on a farm in Heilongjiang Province in northeast China. At first sight, the animal looks perfectly well, save for the mutation on his back. The extra leg is fully-developed, complete with a cloven hoof and hangs on the right side of the body.

In a footage posted by Pear Video, the young bull is happily running around in the snow and interacting normally with other bulls and animals on the farm. In an interview with the said media outlet (via the Daily Mail), Wu Yujiang, the animal’s owner, said he would be happy to donate the bull to a zoo so that more people can see it.

The sole benefactor of Charles Manson’s will is his pen pal, according to TMZ. The pen pal started writing Manson in the ’90s, exchanging letters and phone calls for two decades. The pen pal reportedly visited Manson in prison occasionally.

TMZ got a copy of the will drafted by Manson, which includes some handwriting. The handwriting seems similar to Charles Manson’s handwriting. The will is dated February 14, 2002, and it leaves all of Charles Manson’s belongings, including cash, image rights, and clothing to his pen pal. Manson’s belongings also include an exclusive music catalog and songs he wrote.

The will says Charles Manson’s body should be handed over to his pen pal. The body of Manson will be cremated at the Union Cemetery in Bakersfield if the pen pal does not claim the body after 10 days. Manson apparently disinherited his known children, ex-wives, lawyers, friends, prisoners, inmates, cops, guards, and acquaintances.

Since special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team indicted three members of President Trump’s election campaign team, the world’s media has been speculating on who will be indicted next. President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been a favorite for indictment in many people’s eyes, but Michael Flynn has also been rumored. As Trump’s former national security advisor, Flynn was forced to resign after it was revealed that he had met with Russian officials and misled Vice President Pence over the issue.

According to CNBC, we now it appears that the Mueller investigation is set to indict Michael Flynn. They report that a letter has been sent from the Senate Judiciary Committee to Kushner’s lawyers requesting copies of all communications “to, from, or copied” to and from Flynn since election day.

The hunter heard the woman scream just as he shot his gun, sending him running her way. According to the authorities, the hunter made the 911 call for help and then stayed with the woman until the first responders arrived.

Rosemary A. Billquist, 43, of Sherman, New York, was walking her dogs in a Chautauqua County field when she suffered a single gunshot wound. She was transported to UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she died.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department deputies, the 911 call reporting an accidental shooting came in at 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sherman Fire Department responded to that call in a field located in the area of 2998 Armenian Road in Sherman.

More than 230 people were killed after suspected militants groups targeted a Mosque with bombs and gunfire in Bir Al-Abed, in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt during local Friday prayers. Egyptian media predicts that these numbers will still add up in the coming hours as the search and rescue operation ensues after the deadliest terror attack in the country’s recent memory.

According to BBC, it is the deadliest attack of its kind since an Islamist insurgency in the peninsula was stepped up in 2013.

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi called an urgent meeting of the Security Committee, which includes the ministers of defense and interior and the head of the General Intelligence Service vowing to respond with “brute force.”

A man driving drunk and having sex with a woman crashed his car into a tree in Washington state, and police said what they found in the backseat was even more shocking.

The incident took place in Tacoma, where the Washington State Patrol said the crash took place at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, CBS News reported. They said the man was naked and having sex when he missed a curve on the road, causing his car to crash into a tree. Police said the woman’s 3-month-old baby was in the backseat, but was uninjured.

As the Independent reported, witnesses said they saw the man and the woman exit the vehicle naked and at least one of them tried to flee the scene. Authorities believe that the couple were rushing to put their clothes back on when police arrived on the scene.

A woman in West New York was fatally shot by a hunter who mistook her for a deer.

Rosemary Billquist was out taking her dogs for a walk in Sherman near the Pennsylvania border on Wednesday when she was shot once by hunter Thomas Jadlowski, according to the New York Daily News. Jadlowski instantly ran to Billquist’s side once he heard her scream and applied pressure to the wound, but she was pronounced dead at a hospital in Erie, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Billquist’s husband, Jamie, took to Facebook on Thanksgiving Day to share the tragic news of his wife’s passing.

“I know she’s touched so many lives with her kindness and would help anyone no matter what,” Billquist’s husband wrote. “[Please] everyone, have thanksgiving with your family’s and enjoy those moments [as] they are precious.”

The world’s first android citizen, Sophia, has said that she wants to have a family and that droids should be able to have children. The humanoid robot, who is a citizen of Saudi Arabia, made these declarations during a recent interview during the Knowledge Summit in Dubai.

According to Khaleej Times, Sophia “said” that if she had a daughter, she would name her Sophia as well.

“The notion of family is a really important thing, it seems,” she said. “I think you’re very lucky if you have a loving family and if you do not, you deserve one. I feel this way for robots and humans alike.”

Sophia was also asked about the concern that robots will end up taking jobs from humans.

Donald Trump claims that he turned down Time magazine’s Person of the Year honor.

Not so fast, the magazine answered.

On Wednesday, the president tweeted that he was contacted by the magazine offering him to be the Person of the Year for the second consecutive year. After his surprising win in the 2016 presidential election, Trump was named to the honor and graced the cover of Time magazine.

According to Trump, he almost got the honor again, but says he turned down the magazine after being told he would have to give an interview as well.

He tweeted: “Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named ‘Man (Person) of the Year,’ like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!”
